The second conveying part (37) following the first conveying part (35) conveys the sheet at third linear velocity (V3) faster than the first linear velocity (V1) near a heating rotation body (26A) of the fixing part (26) from a first reference line (L5) passing through nip parts (26C, 35C) of the fixing part (26) and first conveying part (35). A cleaning apparatus includes a blade, a screw, a toner crushing member, and a casing. The toner crushing member is located in contact with the screw. The toner crushing member is provided in association with the screw and configured to crush toner accumulated between the screw and the blade, by being swung by the screw rotating. The casing houses the screw and the toner crushing member. The screw rotates in the direction reverse to the rotational direction of the photoreceptor drum. The toner crushing member is configured having a first part and a second part, with a base-end side of the first part being secured to the casing, and the second part being folded back along a distal-end side of the first part, such that a distal-end side of the second part swings between the blade and the screw, in association with the rotation of the screw.

A roller support mechanism (80) supports a rotary shaft (72) of a second roller (71) disposed in parallel with a first roller (16B). The roller support mechanism (80) includes a support frame (81), a cover member (82), a bearing member (83), and an urging member (84). The support frame (81) is made of sheet metal and has a support groove (85) extending in a direction away from the first roller (16B) and receiving the rotary shaft (72). The cover member (82) is made of sheet metal and is attached to the support groove (85) to cover a pair of side edge sections (85B) facing each other across the support groove (85). The bearing member (83) is disposed in the support groove (83A), with the cover member (82) interposed therebetween, so as to be movable in a direction toward/away from a bottom (85A) of the support groove (85). The urging member (84) urges the bearing member (83) in a direction away from the bottom (85A) of the support groove (85).

A transfer device (14) includes a plurality of transfer members (24) and a switch section (51). The switch section (51), in a first state, causes the transfer members (24) to be pressed against a plurality of image bearing members (20). The switch section (51), in a second state, causes a transfer member (24Bk) opposed to a first image bearing member (20Bk) to be pressed against the first image bearing member (20Bk), and causes a transfer member (24M-24Y) opposed to a second image bearing member (20M-20Y) to be separated from the second image bearing member (20M-20Y). In the first state, toner images of different colors are transferred from the image bearing members (20) to an intermediate transfer belt (141) and superimposed together. In the second state, a single-color toner image is transferred from the first image bearing member (20Bk) to the intermediate transfer belt (141). The switch section (51) changes a pressing force of the transfer member (24Bk) to the first image bearing member (20Bk) between the first and second states.
