Embodiments of a system and method are disclosed. One embodiment is a Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver. The CAN transceiver includes a CAN bus interface, a TXD interface, an RXD interface, a transmitter connected between the TXD interface and the CAN bus interface, a receiver connected between the RXD interface and the CAN bus interface, a traffic control system connected between the CAN bus interface, the TXD interface, and the RXD interface. The traffic control system detects the presence of CAN Flexible Data-rate (FD) traffic on the CAN bus interface and if the traffic control system detects the presence of CAN FD traffic on the CAN bus interface, the traffic controls system changes an operating state of the transceiver. |

Example embodiments include a sensor circuit (300) comprising: first and second paths (301 a, 301 b) comprising respective first and second sensing elements (R1 a, R2a) connected between first and second supply lines (302a, 302b); an analogue to digital converter (304, 305, 306) having a differential input connected to receive a differential voltage signal (Vinp-Vinn) between the first and second sensing elements (R1 a, R2a) and an output for providing a digital output signal (Dout) representing a difference between the first and second sensing elements (R1 a, R2a), the analogue to digital converter comprising: a plurality of current sources (311 0 ...311 n ) connected between the first and second supply lines (302a, 302b), each current source being switchably connected to either the first or second sensing elements (R1 a, R2a); and control logic (306) configured to selectively switch current from each of the current sources (311 0 ...311 n ) to either the first path (301 a) or the second path (301 b) in dependence on the differential voltage signal (Vinp-Vinn). |

A wireless charging apparatus and method utilizing a secure element is disclosed. Illustratively, a receiver containing a secure element securely communicates with a charging pad also equipped with a secure element. The communication can be used to establish the identity of the receiver and facilitate billing for the wireless charging. The charging pad may further communicate in a secure manner with a server to authenticate the identity and other information about the receiver before providing wireless charging. Direct communication between the receiver and server is also contemplated. |

Zusammenfassung
Data packets are received from a plurality of communication nodes within a local Ethernet network, the data packets including a media access control address ("MAC address") are indicative of a destination and a data packet traffic class. Based upon the traffic class of each data packet, each of the received data packets are assigned in to one of the plurality of queues of a memory circuit. Based upon the MAC address of each data packet, the data packets within at least one of the queues are sorted. Each queue is then serviced and the data packets within are transmitted based upon the sorting. |

There is disclosed a method for secure data reading in a data handling system, said data handling system comprising an address dispatcher for dispatching read requests to a memory comprising a first memory region, an anomaly signal producer and an anomaly handler, the method comprising the following steps: the address dispatcher dispatches a first read request to a first memory region; subsequent to dispatching the first read request, the address dispatcher dispatches a second read request to said first memory region; subsequent to dispatching the second read request, the address dispatcher dispatches a third read request to said first memory region; the anomaly signal producer produces a first anomaly signal if a result produced by the memory in response to the first read request does not agree with a result produced by the memory in response to the third read request; the anomaly signal producer produces a second anomaly signal if the memory does not produce a predefined result in response to the second read request; the anomaly handler concludes that a fault attack has occurred if at least one of the first anomaly signal and the second anomaly signal has been produced. Furthermore, a corresponding computer program product and a corresponding data handling system are disclosed. |
