Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Heizvorrichtung, insbesondere einer Hybridheizvorrichtung, die zum Temperieren zumindest eines Raumes und/oder eines Nutzfluids in einem Gebäude eingerichtet ist. Die Heizvorrichtung umfasst einen gekapselten Strömungskanal mit einem darin angeordneten Wärmeerzeuger. Der Strömungskanal ist dazu eingerichtet, den Wärmeerzeuger Luft leitend und/oder Abgas leitend mit einer Außenumgebung des Gebäudes, in dem die Heizvorrichtung aufgestellt ist, zu verbinden. Die Heizvorrichtung umfasst weiter einen Wärmepumpenwärmeübertrager, der dazu eingerichtet ist, Kältemittel leitend mit einer Wärmepumpenvorrichtung, insbesondere einer Außeneinheit einer Wärmepumpenvorrichtung, verbunden zu werden. Der Wärmepumpenwärmeübertrager ist in einem Wärmeübertragergehäuse angeordnet, wobei das Wärmeübertragergehäuse mittels einer, insbesondere genau einer, Fluidverbindung strömungsleitend mit dem Strömungskanal verbunden ist, um ein aus dem Wärmepumpenwärmeübertrager in das Wärmeübertragergehäuse austretendes Kältemittel, insbesondere eine Kältemittelleckage, in den Strömungskanal abzuleiten. Dabei weist die Fluidverbindung ein Kältemittelgebläse zum beschleunigten Ableiten des Kältemittels aus dem Wärmeübertragergehäuse in den Strömungskanal auf.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum automatisierten Entladen von Batterien (10), wobei die Vorrichtung umfasst: - eine Leistungselektronik (26) zum Tiefentladen einer Batterie (10); - eine Aktivierungsvorrichtung (22) zum Aktivieren eines Schaltelements (14); - zumindest eines Verbindungssystems (18) zum elektrischen Verbinden und Lösen einer elektrischen Verbindung der Leistungselektronik (26) mit den Polen (12a, 12b) der Batterie (10) und zum Verbinden des Schaltelements (14) mit den Polen (12a, 12b) der Batterie (10); - eine Steuerung zum Steuern der Leistungselektronik (26), des Verbindungssystems (18) und der Aktivierungsvorrichtung (22), wobei die Steuerung dazu ausgebildet ist, die Aktivierungsvorrichtung (22) zu betätigen, nachdem die Leistungselektronik (26) die Batterie (10) tiefentladen hat.

An atmospheric CO₂ capture system includes a compartment housing a solid CO₂ sorbent, an exchange fluid including a chemical component with selectivity towards CO₂, and an electrochemical cell or mineralization reactor in fluid communication with the compartment, the system having a cycle including a first state of sorbing CO₂ from incoming air onto the solid CO₂ sorbent until a saturation point is reached; a second state of regenerating the sorbent by flooding the compartment with the exchange fluid to detach CO₂ from the saturated sorbent and bind the detached CO₂ to the chemical component; and a third state of regenerating the chemical component and utilizing the CO₂ in the electrochemical cell or mineralization reactor.

A direct air capture CO₂ system includes a CO₂ extraction reactor having a chamber defined by a wall; an air inlet formed in the wall; an air outlet formed in the wall; and housing units defining internal volumes, the housing units arranged within the chamber, at least some of the housing units having spherical and/or ellipsoidal shapes, each of the internal volumes at least partially filled with functionalized CO₂ sorbent particles.

The present disclosure relates to a method for updating lane lines on a map. The method comprises obtaining a first set of sampling points of lane lines from a map and obtaining a second set of sampling points of lane lines in a driving scenario based on vehicle sensor information. The method further comprises updating the first set of sampling points on the map based on the positional relationship between the first set of sampling points and the second set of sampling points. In this way, existing maps and current sensor information can be fused to update the position of map points based on lane line detection points in real driving scenarios. Moreover, global lane lines can be formed based on the map's topology, thereby avoiding the limitations of sensor detection range and enabling the updating and expansion of perception results. As such, examples of the present disclosure are capable of increasing the accuracy of lane line updates on a map.

Systems and methods related to an electronic communications system expansion device. The device includes a control input/output interface, a first bus interface, a second bus interface, and an electronic processor. The processor is configured to, when operating in the expander mode, receive, from a control panel, a first communication according to a first communications protocol at the control input/output interface, and output, from both the first serial communications bus interface and the second serial communications bus interface, the first communication according to a second communications protocol, the second communications protocol being a wired communications protocol. The processor is further configured to, when operating in the extender mode, receive, at the first bus interface, a second communication according to the second communications protocol from a first electronic communications device, and output the second communication according to the second communications protocol to a second electronic communications device via the second bus interface.

The device includes a first transmitter configured to transmit communications over a first serial communications bus and a first receiver configured to receive communications over the first serial communications bus. The device includes a processor configured to receive a communication from the first receiver from the first bus, transmit, via the second transmitter, the communication over the second bus in response to receiving the communication, and lock out, during transmission of the communication, the first transmitter from transmitting over the first serial communications bus.

Systems and methods directed to electronic communications system expander device. The device includes a differential receiver, an electronic processor, and a broken wire detection circuit including a load resistor selectively connectable to an input of the detection circuit, the circuit being communicatively coupled at the input to a differential communications bus and communicatively coupled at an output to the processor. The processor is configured to transmit a message over the bus to an electronic communications device, detect, at the differential receiver, a message over the bus from the communications device, and connect, in response to detecting the response message, the load resistor to the input of the detection circuit. The processor is further configured to disconnect, during reception of the message from the communications device, the load resistor and determine, based on a signal from the circuit, whether a broken wire condition exists within the bus.
