The present disclosure relates generally to methods of treating or preventing an adverse secondary neurological outcome in a subject following a haemorrhagic stroke accompanied by extravascular erythrolysis and release of cell-free heme and/or cell-free haemoglobin (Hb) into a cerebral spinal fluid (CSF), the method comprising exposing the CSF of a subject in need thereof to a therapeutically effective amount of hemopexin (Hx) and for a period of time sufficient to allow the Hx to form a complex with, and thereby neutralise, the cell-free heme and, optionally, exposing the CSF of the subject to a therapeutically effective amount of haptoglobin (Hp) and for a period of time sufficient to allow the Hp to form a complex with, and thereby neutralise, the cell-free Hb. |

System (100), method and computer program product for dynamic natural language communication between a human (1) and a computing device (100) in the context of human-machine interaction. Spoken natural language as audio input (10s) is received from the human. The audio input is discretized into discrete speech units (10s1 to 10sc) in real-time. A generative speech model (120) generates, at respective start timepoints (t1 to tc), current potential responses (pr1 to prc) based on the discrete speech units (10s1 to 10sc). If the audio input (10s) indicates an end of speech, the current potential response (prc) is delivered as machine response to the human (1). If no end of speech is detected, corresponding discrete speech units are monitored for interaction interrupt triggers. If an interaction interrupt trigger (131) is detected, an interaction interrupt response (121) is generated as machine response based on a controllable parameter set (20), and delivered as (1580) the machine response. |

The disclosure pertains to a method of analyzing a time-correlated single photon counting measurement, the method comprising the steps of a) exciting the sample (10) by a plurality of successive excitation light pulses or any other form of periodically modulated light (11), b) detecting the radiation originating from the sample (10), thereby generating an electrical signal (12), out of which at least one detection event (13) is generated, each detection event (13) indicative of at least one photon originating from the sample (10) and having a measured relative time (t<sub>p</sub>), c) providing extended information for at least one of said detection events (13), preferably for each of said detection events (13), the extended information being representative of at least one of the size and shape of the electrical pulse associated with the detection event (13) within the electrical signal (12), and d) generating a distribution of relative times reflecting one or more properties of the sample (10) based on said signal (12) and said extended information, wherein a corrected relative time tp′ is assigned to at least one detection event (13) which is based on the measured relative time (t<sub>p</sub>) of the detection event (13) and on the extended information associated with the respective detection event (13) and/or a weight factor (w(t)) is assigned to at least one detection event (13) which is based on the measured relative time (t<sub>p</sub>) of the detection event (13) and on the extended information associated with a plurality, in particular all, detection events (13) within a domain of interest (DOI). |
