A target machine locator system (200) includes one or more fixed upright structures (202). Each fixed upright structure (202) includes an identification element (204) that is detectable by a perception sensor system (112) of a mobile machine (100) a communication component (206) configured to communicate with the mobile machine (100), and a controller (208). The fixed upright structure (202) also includes at least one of a first set of one or more perception sensors (214) to determine a height (304) parameter associated with a target machine (302) when the target machine (302) is within a proximity zone (218) of the fixed upright structure (202), or a second set of one or more perception sensors (216) to determine an offset distance parameter associated with a side of the target machine (302) when the target machine (302) is within the proximity zone (218).

This disclosure describes systems (100) and methods (600) for monitoring and evaluating energy consumption (128) at a worksite across types of machinery including mobile and stationary machinery (102, 104, 108, 150) as well as across energy types consumed by each of the types of machines. The systems (100) and methods (600) provide for aggregating fuel-based (302) and electricity-based (304) energy consumption as determined from sensor systems (110, 114, 138, 152) of machines at a worksite. The systems (100) further provide for control of operations at a worksite to achieve one or more objectives.

An exhaust system (10) for an internal combustion engine (12) includes an exhaust conduit (40), and a NOx sampling device (44) arranged to sample a stream of exhaust fed through the exhaust conduit (40) to an exhaust outlet (42). The NOx sampling device will be coupled with a NOx sensor (76) having a sensor probe (78) fluidly connected to a mixing chamber (56) in the NOx sampling device. A plurality of sampling flutes (58, 60, 62) each form an exhaust feed passage (64, 66, 68) to sample the exhaust at locations providing improved sensor reading accuracy.

An aftertreatment mixing tube (62) includes a mixing tube body (66) having an exhaust inlet (70) located in a first tube end (72), an exhaust outlet (74) located in a second tube end (76), and an inner tube surface (80) circumferentially extending around a center axis (68) and forming an exhaust passage (82). The mixing tube body further includes a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) injection port (84) positioned proximate to the first tube end. The mixing tube defines a mixing tube inner diameter dimension, and a mixing tube axial length dimension, and a ratio of the mixing tube axial length dimension to the mixing tube inner diameter dimension ranges from 5.9 to 6.7. An exhaust system (16) and methodology of operating an aftertreatment system (32) are also disclosed. In the aftertreatment mixing tube (62) there can be downstream of the DEF injector (86) impingement surfaces for improved mixing.

An aftertreatment mixing tube (62) includes a mixing tube body (66) having an exhaust inlet (70) located in a first tube end (72), an exhaust outlet (74) having a plurality of perforations (92) located in a second tube end (76), and an inner tube surface (80) circumferentially extending around a center axis (68) forming an exhaust passage (82). The mixing tube further includes a plurality of exhaust impingement elements (114) serially arranged in the exhaust passage, each exposed to a flow of exhaust through the exhaust passage and oriented to deflect exhaust in radial directions, and a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) injection port positioned proximate to the first tube end.
