This cryotherapy device comprises a head part, a cooling mechanism, and a control unit. The head part has a probe that forms a working surface to be brought close to or into contact with the surface of a skin to be treated. The cooling mechanism cools the probe. The control unit controls the cooling mechanism such that the probe is maintained at a target temperature of 0°C or lower. The probe is configured so as to freeze the tissue of the skin through the working surface and thereby selectively induce the apoptosis of diseased cells including at least nevus cells.

Provided is a method for acquiring data on efficacy of a CDK4/6 inhibitor in a lung cancer cell, the method including detecting EGFR gene mutation, and CDKN2A/B gene deletion or loss-of-function mutation in a lung cancer cell derived from a lung cancer patient. Presence of EGFR gene mutation, and CDKN2A/B gene deletion or loss-of-function mutation indicates that the CDK4/6 inhibitor has efficacy.

The present invention aims to provide a novel agent for treating or preventing dry eye, an agent for treating or preventing graft-versus-host disease, an agent for promoting healing of corneal epithelial wound, an agent for suppressing an inflammatory cell infiltrating into the cornea, a tear volume retaining agent, an agent for suppressing a corneal epithelial damage, an agent for suppressing a cell positive for a cell proliferation marker, or an agent for suppressing differentiation of a lymphocyte into an effector T cell. The present invention provides a novel agent for treating or preventing dry eye, an agent for treating or preventing graft-versus-host disease, an agent for promoting healing of corneal epithelial wound, an agent for suppressing an inflammatory cell infiltrating into the cornea, a tear volume retaining agent, an agent for suppressing a corneal epithelial damage, an agent for suppressing a cell positive for a cell proliferation marker, or an agent for suppressing differentiation of a lymphocyte into an effector T cell, the agent comprising a substance derived from a culture supernatant of a stem cell as an active ingredient.

A learning apparatus for performing machine learning includes an acquisition unit for acquiring teaching data including input data and correct answer data, the input data including an input image that contains a reference object and an input text that relatively designates a target position by referring to the reference object; a generation unit for inputting the input data to a model to generate output data for specifying the target position, a reference position that is a position of the reference object, and a positional relationship of the target position with respect to the reference position; and an update unit for updating a parameter of the model to reduce a loss obtained by inputting the output data and the correct answer data to a loss function. The loss function is based on at least two errors of a first error between the target position specified by the output data and the target position specified by the correct answer data, a second error between the reference position specified by the output data and the reference position specified by the correct answer data, and a third error between the positional relationship specified by the output data and the positional relationship specified by the correct answer data.

A cardiomyocyte population comprising cardiomyocytes differentiated from human pluripotent stem cells and having the following features (1), (2), and (3): (1) cells positive for cardiac troponin T constitute 90% or more of all viable cells,; (2) the spontaneous beating rate is 0 to 60 beats per minute; and (3) the population of cardiomyocyte is within 30 days from initiation of differentiation. Also provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising the cardiomyocyte population and/or a cardiac spheroid obtained by spheroidizing the cardiomyocyte population, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Further provided is a method for producing the cardiomyocyte population, the method comprising: (a) expanding human pluripotent stem cells in culture; (b) culturing the expanded human pluripotent stem cells under conditions for differentiation into cardiomyocytes to produce a cell population comprising 60% or more cardiomyocytes; and (c) removing human pluripotent stem cells and non-cardiomyocyte cells from the cell population.
