Zusammenfassung
A induction hardening treatment method for a large bearing ring, comprising 1) austenitizing step: heating the bearing ring by means of inductors (i<r1>, i<r2>, I<b>) so that surface temperature of the bearing ring reaches austenitizing temperature; and 2) martensitizing step: spraying a coolant on the bearing ring by means of showers (s<r>, s<b>) to cool the bearing ring rapidly, and to transform austenite in the structure of the bearing ring into martensite. Said austenitizing step is realized by simultaneously heating a raceway side surface (f<r>) and a raceway back side surface (f<b>) of the bearing ring by means of the inductors (i). Based on the above method, the present invention also provides an induction heating and quenching machine tool for a large bearing ring. The double-side heating not only allows the bearing ring to be hardened on both faces, but also can adjust a formation depth of a hardened layer below both side surfaces of the bearing ring. Said depth may reach as deep as a core portion of the bearing ring, thereby allowing the hardened layer to be formed throughout the entire thickness of the bearing ring, satisfying material performances required by different applications to the greatest extent. |

Zusammenfassung
A hub-bearing assembly serves to rotatably mount a soil-working disc (D) on a supporting axle (A) of an agricultural machine. The assembly includes a hub-bearing unit (10) having a rotatable outer race (11) with a flange (12) on an outer axial end (11a) for mounting a disc (D), an enlarged collar section (13) extending from an inner axial end (11b) of the race (11), and a recess (38) defined axially between the flange (12) and collar section (13). A sealing device (20) is mounted with the collar section (13)on an inner side of the hub-bearing unit opposite to the side of the flange (12). The recess (38) serves as a seat for winding agricultural fibers or wires picked up from the fields during use of the agricultural machine and is partially defined by a barrier surface (34) which prevents fibers from sliding out of the recess (38). |

A sealing device (20) is mounted on an inner side of the hub-bearing unit opposite to the side of the flange (12). The radially outer surface of the assembly has a portion (38) between the flange (12) and an inner side of the outer race (11), which is radially recessed so as to serve as a seat for winding agricultural fibers or wires picked up from the fields during use of the agricultural machine. At least one cutting projection (40) extends radially outwardly from the recess (38) to at least facilitate removal of fibers or wires. |
